The Supplant company is nominated for Prestigious Earthshot prize

We started The Supplant Company to make a difference in the world, so it’s a tremendous honor to learn we are one of the nominees for this year’s Earthshot Prize, which is known as “the most prestigious global environment prize in history.”
• Protect and Restore Nature
• Revive our Oceans
• Clean our Air
• Build a Waste-Free World, and
• Fix our Climate
Nominees must be doing something to help the world in at least one, if not more, of these areas.

Nominees must be doing something to help the world in at least one, if not more, of these areas.
We were nominated in the Earthshot Prize category of “Build a Waste-Free World,” because our world-changing solution, sugars from fiber, uses upcycled agricultural side streams to address three simultaneous global problems:
• Adequate nutrition
• Food security
• Sustainability
To be considered for the Earthshot Prize, companies, organizations, and individuals must be selected by one of 345 official nominators, who are located in 80 countries around the world. We are grateful to The Mills Fabrica, “a go-to solutions platform accelerating techstyle and agri-food tech innovations for sustainability and social impact,” for putting The Supplant Company forward as a nominee.
We eagerly anticipate learning more about the many other world-changing ideas that have been nominated, when the finalists are announced later this year.
Until then, we’ll keep doing what we do best — bringing sustainable food systems ever closer to reality, for the good of our planet, and the people who live on it.
