To build the food system that the world deserves, we need new ways of making better ingredients.
:Our perspective begins by seeing the value in agriculture's most abundant and most wasted resource: side-streams like corn cobs, oat hulls and wheat straw. It's what we collectively call The Forgotten Half of the Harvest.
We develop science to turn these side streams into healthier and more sustainable replacements for some of food's most damaging ingredients, such as refined sugar and starch.
Because The Forgotten Half of the Harvest is the only agricultural product abundant enough, this is the only way we'll ever be able to replace these ingredients that can be damaging to our health and our planet.
It starts by seeing things differently. It ends with a better world for everyone.
